WATERSIDE CROSSING is a prestigious residential community situated on 475 acres of woodlands along the shores of Lake Keowee with over 4 miles of shoreline.  Residents enjoy temperate climate in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are 254 lots in the Waterside Crossing development.  191 homes have been built with 10 currently under construction. Homes are typically 3,000 to 6,000 sq ft in size.
 
Residents live mid-way between Atlanta and Charlotte, with Clemson and Greenville nearby for cultural/entertainment opportunities. This is a land of waterfalls, and over 200 can be found within a one-hour drive.  Recreational opportunities within the community include a swimming pool, lighted tennis courts and a 1.3-mile long hiking trail.  Along the trail are bridges, a brook, playgrounds, clubhouse, marinas and pavilion. Avid golfers can play several 18-hole courses located nearby.  Boat slips are available to interior lot owners allowing access to18,000-acre Lake Keowee. The clean, blue water lake is fed by numerous mountain streams.
 
“Keowee” is a Cherokee term for “place of the mulberries.”  Duke Energy manages the hydroelectric dam that contributes power to upstate South Carolina and drinking water to a variety of cities, including Greenville. The Lake is 23 miles long and it averages about three miles wide. There is over 300 miles of Lake Keowee shoreline.

Kayaking

Waterside Crossing offers a community marina and park for residents which includes a kayak, canoe, and paddle board launch beach. Community kayak storage racks are also provided for residents.

Boating

Waterside Crossing is a boating community located on Lake Keowee in the Blue Ridge Mountains of South Carolina. Lake Keowee is considered the crown jewel of South Carolina. It spans 25 miles long and is 3 miles wide. The average depth is 54 feet and offers over 300 miles of shoreline to explore.

Tennis & Pickle Ball

Waterside Crossing has two lighted tennis and pickle ball courts for residents of all ages and stages. Whether you are a serious tennis player or prefer a little underhand, double fun play, our courts are open for sport.
